The region Alsace
The pretty region of Alsace lies to the west of the Rhine. The Rhine plain unites the Vosge hills, covered with vineyards and dotted with many picturesque villages. During the grape harvesting season, an excursion by car through the vine-yards should not be missed. Situated to the west of Vosges, Lorraine is a region where natural sites have been preserved and offers many thermal pools.
