Interior

A traditional log cabin near the lake Livojärvi, known for its white sandy beaches. Private beach with sand bottom and rowing boat. 65 km to the northwest from Kuusamo, 18 km to the south from the center of Posio, lake Livojärvi 100 m (length 20 km, width 2.5 km). Planed log cabin, built in 1990, renovated in 2001 (incl. electrification and washroom renovation). Living room/kitchen, spacious alcove (folding door) with two bunk beds, sauna and washroom/WC. Pentik (factory outlet store, museum, café) 22 km, Kirinnonvaara ski resort 25 km, Korouoma canyon 40 km, Riisitunturi National Park 55 km, Kuusamo Tropical Spa 65 km, Ruka 75 km, Ranua Zoo 95 km. In winter, snowmobile trails runs to Posio and Iso-Syöte across the lake Livojärvi. There are 16 km of hiking trails and sheds in nearby Hirsiniemi region. Reindeer farm Valkean Peuran valtakunta is about 4 km away, where you can get traditional food and reindeer rides by prior arrangement. Lake Livojärvi has vendace, whitefish, trout and grayling. Fishing areas: 2595 Livojärvi and 2599 Livojoki (see www.eraluvat.fi). Small game hunting area: 2620 Posio (see www.eraluvat.fi).
