35 km west of Jyväskylä, Lake Karikkojärvi 20 m (length 5 km, width 600 m), shallow, sanded moraine bottom, own boat, pier. Log building 1987, kitchen, living room with fireplace and 2 convertible sofa beds, upstairs bedroom with 3 beds, alcove with a door 1 bed, in sleeping loft 2 beds and 3 mattresses, dressing room, washroom, sauna (elec. stove), toilets renovated in 2017, hall, open porches. Entire extensive area (5 ha) is at guest's private disposal; camp fire place and roofed dining area for 50 persons. Grill only in summer use. Best suited as a holiday location for several acquainted families, plenty of space downstairs. Large sauna for 10 persons, stairs from the sauna to the pier. If you are planning to have parties for more than 12 persons, please agree it beforehand with the owner. 3 frisbee golf baskets in yard. It's not allowed to bring rentable hot tub to the cottage. Close by e.g. Petäjävesi's UNESCO old wooden church 4 km. Opportunities for horse riding 7 km. Several Golf courses in distance 30 -75 km. Ski resorts: Himos 55 km, Laajavuori 30 km, Revontuli/Hankasalmi 75 km. Spa hotels: Laajavuori 30 km, Peurunka 54 km.
