42 km to the west from Joensuu, pond Vääränlampi 25 m (0,1361 km²), shallow, child-friendly sand beach, width 50 m. Approx. 8 m of sand bottom, almost reach at the end of the pier, beach is facing to the west, boat, kayak and pier. Holiday apartment 2017, made from log, living room/kitchen spreadable sofa, bedroom with double bed (separate beds but common mattress pad), another bedroom with 125 cm wide bed, spacious loft with 2 beds, large terrace. 30 m² sauna building with wood burning sauna stove, large steam room for up to 11 people, washroom/utility room (rain shower), lounge area with spreadable sofa, loft with double bed (please inform if you want separate mattress pads), large terrace. Bright holiday apartment by a peaceful pond. The holiday apartment is equipped with an air source heat pump and a separate air-conditioning unit, as well as wireless Internet connection 100 Mbit/s. An air source heat pump also in sauna building. Child/dog gate in the double bedroom. Transferable wheelchair ramp available. It can be attached to the main cabin’s and sauna buildings stairs. If you’re using wheelchair, you will need aid in order to use ramp. There are two snowshoes available for guests. The pond is shallow and water of the pond comes from the springs, motor boats are not allowed. You may bring the rental hot tub if agreed with owner. Additional fee may apply. The nearest neighboring building is 50 m away, it is used only in summer. In the winter, the nearest inhabited building is 150 m away. Services of city of Outokumpu 7 km. Matovaara sports area 6 km. There are 1-5 km of illuminated ski trails, connected to other ski trails, total length of ski trails is about 40 km. Outokumpu old mine 7,5 km, swimming hall 6 km. Hiking and nature center of Outokumpu (Särkiselkä), ideal destination for families and fishermen, 15 km, Koli 73 km.
