250 km north of Rovaniemi, at Ylikyrö near Raattama, in Pallastunturi scenery. River Ounasjoki 40 m (width approx. 100 m), plot in a natural state, deep river bank, hard bottom, water level varies, NO boat by the river.
Hand-hewn log cottage, built 2012, with 3 storeys, ground floor is stone. Ground floor: sauna (electric stove), washroom, room with fireplace and furniture is a bedroom with 2 beds; WC. Middle floor: large living room and cooking corner, WC, open porch. Top floor: bedroom 3 beds, balcony.
Home theatre equipment. Child’s cot and baby feeding chair available, if required. Log cottage on river bank in typical Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park scenery (to border approx. 4 km). A steep slope from cottage to river beach.
Area’s services nearby: Tunturihotelli Vuontispirtti (hotel) 2.5 km and reindeer farm 3.5 km, where canoes for hire and meals served. Raattama village 5 km, where e.g. shop, fully licensed restaurant and horse riding stables. Pallastunturi ski slopes 30 km, nature centre 30 km.
1 x 50 litre bag of firewood is included in the price, extra firewood can be ordered from the owner (10 e/bag).
