The small village of Witrach lies 16 kilometres north of Thun in the middle of the Aare valley. In the village itself there is a grocery store and a butcher's shop. All necessary services are available in Thun.
Transport connections: Railway line Bern - Interlaken. Train station in town. Motorway A6 Bern - Thun, exit 14 "Rubigen".
The Jungfrau ski area, 50 kilometres away, offers everything the winter sports heart desires. In summer there is a swimming lake 16 km from the village. There are cycle paths and hiking trails nearby.
