Distance to the Tahko ski centre is 22 km, to the western slopes of Tahko 14 km (the nearest ski lift). There is a spa, restaurants, equipment rental and golf course in Tahko area. 6 km to Varpaisjärvi with the nearest grocery store, a restaurant, and a lighted ski trail. Starting from the week 8, and if the snow situation allows, there is a ski trail (Paulintaival, length 55 km) 500 m away from the cabin.
