90 km north-west of Helsinki, Salkolanjärvi 300 m (length of 5 km, width 800 m), shallow, hard sand bottom, the village's common shared beach, no jetty, to the beach 800 m by car, rowboat shared with another rental cottage. Log cabin in 2013, kitchen-living room with sofa bed, bedroom with 2 beds, bedroom with 2 beds, bathroom (shower and toilet), sauna (wood stove), terrace. Swimming pond in front of the cottage. On the opposite shore there is a smoke sauna which can be rented for a separate agreement (owner heats it). Access to the lake Salkolanjärvi requires crossing some roads. Liesjärvi National Park 5 km, Somero summer market and Ämyrin dance 10 km, badding "paradise kiosk" 14 km, Häntälä notkot 25 km, Somero, Forssa and Karkkila 25 km.
