Picturesque town, typical of the area, with 900 inhabitants, situated 7 km from Puigcero, approx 138 km north of Barcelona and 121 km west of Figueras.
To visit: The Riu Tower (modern building similar to the central European feudal castles). Possibility of several excursions throughout Cerdanya (roman roads, typical towns, gastronomic trips, mountain trips). Municipal swimming pool with garden. 18-hole golf course in Bolvir (25 km). Aquapark with heated swimming pool and picnic area in Er.
Summer Various mountain sports: horseriding, archery, rafting, canoeing, ravine descents, trekking and mountain climbing. Hot air ballooning.
The main tourist attraction in winter are the ski slopes. La Molina has been a ski resort since 1909 and official ski competitions have been held since 1911, and in 1924 the championships of Catalonia and Spain took place. Thanks to this we were able to create the Alp 2500, a ski domain that is one of the largest in Europe and has more than 100 km of pistes.
